Who we are
Tori Decor is a crockery and showpieces shop at Shop No. 104, 1st Floor, Vardaan Market, 25A, Camac Street, Kolkata, West Bengal 700016. This website shows our pieces so you can see them before you visit. Nothing can be bought on it.
What this website collects
- No accounts or newsletters. The only form is the review form, which we send to our customers (see Reviews, below).
- No tracking. We use no analytics, no advertising and no social-media trackers.
- No cookies for visitors. The only cookie is the sign-in cookie of our own team's admin area, set after a team member signs in.
- Technical data. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, handles the technical details every visit involves, such as your IP address, browser and the page asked for, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use them to identify you. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
When you contact us
- WhatsApp. The WhatsApp buttons open WhatsApp with a message you can change. If you send it, we receive your WhatsApp number, the name on your account and your message. WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy apply in the app.
- Phone. If you call us, we see your number.
- We use these details only to answer you about our pieces, prices, delivery or your visit. We do not sell or share them, and we do not send you offers unless you ask for them.
Reviews
- If you write a review on the link we send you, we keep what you type: the name you want shown, your area and star rating if you give them, and your review. We use it only to show your review on this website, with your agreement, which you give with the tick box on the form.
- We read every review before it is shown. We may decide not to show one, for example spam, abusive words or private details, but we never change what you wrote.
- A review we do not show is deleted after 30 days (after 90 days if we never decided). A review on the site stays until you ask us to take it down, which you can do at any time on WhatsApp or by phone.
- To stop abuse, the form counts how many reviews come from one internet connection in a day. It keeps only a scrambled code made from the connection's address, which changes every day and is deleted after two days.
- Reviews are stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this website.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or erase it, and raise a complaint. Write to us on WhatsApp or call +91 62895 67983, and we will reply as soon as we can. If you are not satisfied, you can approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Our team's admin area
Our team adds and edits pieces through a private admin area, signing in with Google. We keep each team member's email address and a sign-in record, only to keep the admin area secure.
Prices, stock and photos
- Prices, where shown, are in Indian rupees and are a guide. Please confirm the price and availability with us before you buy.
- Stock shown can be a few minutes out of date.
- The photos show the actual pieces. Backgrounds are removed, and colours can look a little different on screens.
- Descriptions are written with the help of software and checked by us; the Hindi and Bengali texts are translations. If anything is unclear, please ask us.
Buying through WhatsApp
- Where a piece shows a price, “Buy on WhatsApp” opens WhatsApp with the piece, its price and its link. Nothing is sold or paid for on this website.
- When you message us, we reply on WhatsApp to confirm the piece, the price, payment and delivery before you pay. Delivery is free within Kolkata.
- For returns and exchanges, please ask us before you buy.
- If you have a complaint about a purchase, message or call us (details below) and we will reply as soon as we can. You can also contact the National Consumer Helpline on 1915.
